Congrats To The Divisional League Champs

Hello Parents, Coaches and Players,

Congratulations to the Divisional League Champs!

Some great games were played by all teams. They had some great family support and cheering. ALL players showed a sign of improvement from the start of the season to the end. Thank you Coaches for taking the time to volunteer, whether you had a child registered with the league or just took the time to volunteer for the youth in the community. Thank you, Parents for joining MGSBA this season and we hope you enjoyed watching your child participating during practice and the games.

End Of Season Picnic

Our end of season picnic is scheduled for this Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 11:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., at Acuna Park, 1700 W. Victoria Ave, Montebello, 90640. We will be having a Taco vendor, who will provide a taco plate for the players and coaches. Plates will be served from 12:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M., or until they run out. Plate tickets will be issued at the picnic, so please go to the MGSBA table. Additional plates will be $8.00. We also recommend each team to have a potluck for those that do not wish to purchase the taco plate or simply enjoy your favorite foods. Coaches, please reach out to your players’ parents for a head count ASAP, since we have a limited number of plates.

Trophies for the 1st and 2nd place winners and medals for all other players will be handed out by their coaches. There will be a DJ and games for the kids, and just a fine time for all.

PAAL will be providing fliers for their summer season. Please keep in mind this schedule is subject to change due to this unpredictable rainy season.

Viejas Casino & Resort

Hello everyone,

Our fundraiser turnaround trip to Viejas Casino is scheduled for Saturday, January 27, 2024, leaving at 8am from Montebello City Hall and returning at 5pm. As of now we have 26 passengers and still need another 20 so that we don’t have to cancel.

Please reach out to family and friends and come enjoy the trip.

Parking Situation At MOI Gym

Hello Parents,

We recently have been receiving complaints from resident around and across from MOI Gym regarding the parking. Please be respectful if you are parking by a driveway to be clear from the entrance to their property. Keep in mind that if they call and report your vehicle as blocking the driveway, your vehicle may receive a citation or towed. Also keep in mind if the parents complain to the school district, it may create some issues regarding our use of the MOI Gym.
